I am client-centred, open, adaptable, caring and honest.
Trained to listen and observe, my goal is to help you actively set your own goals and manage your own behaviour and, more broadly, events and circumstances in your life that you would like to work on.
By life coaching, I mean a goal centred experience that is marked by open-participatory meetings (opposed to expert led services), non-hierarchical approach, with an emphasis on empowerment with your own agenda as central. My life coaching sessions are structured and directional and interactive. Life coaching promotes goal setting rather than dwelling on past problems. I will encourage you to focus positively on what you do well, set goals and work out how to achieve them.

Experience is a great teacher and my life coaching is largely rooted in my formal training as an NHS health trainer. I have studied and worked in the health, wellness and personal development industry since 1998. My life coaching sessions integrate more than one model, along with elements of therapeutic approaches such as person-centred counselling, solution focused brief therapy or CBT.

Life coaching sessions are an incredibly powerful tool and I will say, though, that I do not think that life coaching is suitable for all people, all of the time. You may benefit more from counselling or therapy, and if this is the case, I will signpost you to other qualified professionals.
